Christie received her B.S. in physics and astronomy with a minor in Hindi from the University of Washington in 2002. She is
currently working on her second Bachelors degree, in Aerospace Engineering, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona
Beach, Florida. Her area of concentration is Astronautics with a minor in Business. Before moving to Florida, she worked in
an ER Clinic Coordinator at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle for three years. Besides enjoying the
wonderful weather in Florida, Christie is actively involved in the Society of Women Engineers, the Indian Students' Association,
and the Embry-Riddle Concert Choir. She also writes for The Avion, Embry-Riddle's Student Newspaper.
