A note from Jenny -

We've been busy - baby #2, Zachary James Martin, was born on April 28th. He (like our 3yr.old, Matthew) was five weeks early but tried to come even earlier. I went into pre-term labor at 28 weeks, checked into Overlake Hospital and never left - they kept me locked in a room, in bed for seven weeks (49 days!!!!). It was crazy hard but we managed to keep him cooking, so while he was little, he only spent a week in the NICU. Recovering from all that bed rest was REALLY hard to say the least, and it's been a pretty tough journey, but he was worth it and we'll all doing really well now.

I also ran the Vancouver BC Marathon in May '05 - CRAZY! - and I started my own business later that week: Little Ditties Music Academy - I teach toddler music classes out of our home! It's great to still sing and teach but get to stay home at the same time.
