Nikki earned her BFA in Film Production and a minor in Public Relations at Chapman University in Orange, California. During her school career Nikki interned at The Jim Henson Company and Mel Gibson's Icon Productions, where sadly, she did not meet Mel Gibson. She wrapped up her college experience by coming home to shoot her senior project (a short film, ghost story) entitled "Lock and Key" at HNA in January 2002. The film is now screening at various film festivals including the LA Short Film Festival Sept. 20th. Nikki lives in L.A. with her boyfriend of almost 2 years (whom she met at Chapman) along with two loving cats, Mollie and Charlie, not to mention a goldfish named Daryl. She works as reception/production assistant at mOcean, a graphics/trailer house for movies in Venice, CA. (did previews for the movie Snatch and the upcoming Underworld.) In the meantime, Nikki is earning her masters degree online through the University of Phoenix in secondary Education (hope to teach film one day) as well as playing softball in the local adult recreation league, riding horses at the L.A. Equestrian center and taking classes at the Groundlings (improv theater group).
