Annie Wagner graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in Modern Studies in 2002, and received her
MA in English in 2003 (her thesis was on feminist film criticism and an obscure children's video format called Pixelvision--don't
ask!). Since moving back to the Northwest from Charlottesville, she's taught SAT and LSAT prep for Kaplan, housesat for a
sexually frustrated cockatiel, and finally learned to drive an automobile. She's now performance editor for The Stranger (www.thestranger.com),
where you can find, in addition to her weekly theater writing, a scattering of film reviews and an occasional piece for the
news or books section. She lives in a butt-ugly apartment building on Capitol Hill, barely a mile from the good ol' Dome,
and continues to grieve the loss of the croissant basket at the Surrogate Hostess (RIP).
